Greetings, 4S, and welcome to this chilly March Monday! Below is your set of work prompts for today. I am keeping this post short because there are a few tasks for you to get done and an open comment section. Remember to set aside 30 minutes or more for sustained, independent reading of a "just-right" book. If you'd like to, leave a comment below on how you have been finding reading material, or anything that's been a challenge you've faced trying to get your reading done.

Here's some imagery I found in a book called Swimming with Sharks -- "Little Genie stood on the railing and pressed her face against the mysterious glass tank. Most people saw piercing eyes... rows of sharp teeth... vicious, bloodthirsty killers!" This language helps me understand how many people might have felt seeing sharks up close, and maybe that they only know sharks in one way.

WOW. Most people at that time must really not like sharks!

I am reading wings of fire ten and in one part there is a cat and a mouse and dragons are betting how long the mouse is going to last. But one dragon tricks the cat and the dragons and saves the mouse. This makes me understand that dragon cares that the mouse lives.

I read a book called House Arrest and the author shows that the main character, Timothy really really loves his tiny brother, Levi. The author describes Levi's sickness really well and makes sure the reader understands. For example: "Have you ever seen a blue baby!?"
