Where were you when you first realized you needed Baby Shark? Looking back to just a handful of weeks ago, for me the answer would have been, "What is Baby Shark?" Sadly, there are kids younger than my newest pair of shoes that have know about Baby Shark longer than I have. For example...
This kid is absolutely adorable and a Baby Shark fan for sure. She has way better moves than me, too.
So, the reason this came up on whatever newsfeed I found it on was that I have liked so many stories about Baby Shark. Baby Shark is trending in my searches, and I feel a bit like a toddler trying to get Alexa to help me re-discover the magic time and time again. But the original song was not my original sin... to use a figure of speech. The first foray into the wonderful world of the Baby Shark was a story I saw about this amazing, epic skit. Prepare to be stunned & moved... "it gets me every time".

Take a moment after that.
There is so much more to the Baby Shark canon, which I have really enjoyed exploring. While any and all musical genres may offer covers of the song, or different versions, I looked out for one of my own fav. types. Here is one "metal version" that we had to turn down when we tried to rock out...

So, yeah... that one's noisy. Personally I like it. One last version I really liked is by Leo Moracchoioli. He is pretty good at turning any song into a metal tune. I wish I could play guitar like this guy -- r actually play guitar in any way! Perhaps Baby Shark will be the first song I learn. The last song for this post (below) actually has a video with a shark costume I may need to have for next Halloween.
-- edit/update -- I guess it is kinda lame not to have a link to the original song, so it is NOW the last video link in this post. Which is your favorite version? Comment open below.
New Comment -- This is awesome, too. The Discoveries never stop.
